Valendictorian disrespected by school

I was doing some likes and I ran across a picture that caught my eye.  A High School valedictorian was speaking and the school turned off her mic.  No doubt she is smarter than the teachers in the school, but she is also an American with rights such as freedom of speech.  I can not obviate as I would like to here, but I will say this, if California can’t respect the rights of smart children during their time to shine, or at any time, then let California needs to just fold its flag and go back home.  We, in America, do not need our rights disrespected because someone else is offended.  If I offend you when I talk to you then don’t listen to me, If I offend you by just being where I am or doing what I do then you have the right to look the other way.  For GOD’s sake respect the students that you have trained especially to the level of valedictorian and let them opine their thoughts to the class and to America.  Again if we disagree we can walk away, on Army with guns are standing there forcing you to listen like in China or North Korea.  The obscurest nature of some within the State of California, well I have to say among others as well, is a sit back to our rights as Americans.

Any opinions or thought?

Monday 6/11

Today being a positive day in my life, I have talked to individuals of interest.  I am not used to doing that.  I do not spend my time at the Waffle House any more.  I got tired of the drama.  I saw so much, as a prior manager of people, that was so wrong.  The store managers are lacking in so many ways, yet would get personal with the help, many investigations for sexual harassment.  The company would change managers and then other discrepancies came about.  I am so an attention to detail kind of person, thanks to the military, I see everything.  I had to rest some.  Much more than that but I do not want to bore anyone with all of the details.  I am happy now that I stay home more and I do more than a routine each day.

I think I may have already said this, but last night I went to LinkedIn and completed two new courses.  I now have 60 completions to my record.  I have scheduled at least an hour or two daily just for courses.  I completed one on Blogs, and the other on Microsoft Azuer.  I will never use the Azuer, I downloaded it once and wanted to learn it, I was lost when I signed in.  It is so massive and involved, I think it is using 5G technology and the cloud systems.  I so wish that I had the time to learn it all, 5G, Cloud, Azuer, wow, so much out there to comprehend.

I write a lot in first person because I guess I can learn from that person a lot of good wisdom.  The first person has been around so many things and do so much, he is my mentor should I have one.  He says his problem is the was taught so much, and acted so stupid growing up, that he wasted much more.  But I do know for a face that he never smoked, did drugs,  but yes he did drink a little.

The thunder has returned.  It is Monday 6/11 the life and story goes on.  Thank you for hearing my thoughts today.

Diabeties Mellitus

References:  Personal experience, Diabetic doctors, MD, Kidney doctors, ADA and other readings of the medical profession.  A list will follow in the next addition.

I do not have a medical degree and I have no intention to diagnose the reader or treat a reader.  I am writing from research, personal experiences, and I will refer to articles that have been published by medical doctors.  I have been under doctors care since 1995 for diabetes type II.  I began treatment with pills, and diet.  I will take you down the road that I have traveled then at the end I will leave you with a couple of thoughts to consider.

  • Type 1 and Type II
  • Estimated 3 million cases per year
  • No none cure, but can be treated by lowering the blood sugar levels i.e., A1C levels
  • Can cause death, kidney disease, stroke, heart problems, and peripheral nerve damage, and other problems as well.
  • Is related or causes many other disorders, hypertension, hypoglycemia, eye problems and other.
  • Developes from inadequate production of insulin
  • Cells may not be using or responding  to insulin production in a proper way.
  • Controlled diet can aid in the reduction of blood sugar
  • Exercise also contributes to a reduction of blood sugar.

If I may interject here personal experiences:  I am controlled to a A1C level of 6.3 which is good, the best is below 6.0 and the doctors get concerned when above 7.0.  When I visit a doctor I can expect a blood test which will include an A1C result.  The A1C represents your diet and blood conditions for the last 3 months.

When I was first told that I was diabetic, I could not believe it.  My mother had it bad, as did others in my family,  but not me I am never sick.  Yep, that is stupid thinking.  Eyes became b blurred, filling crazy and that was me.  I was on the medications, pills, at the time and I was driving trucks at that time.  So, I was being stupid and I came off my meds for a while.  My vision was acting up, so I took a sugar reading, simple test, and my reading was over 500.  Well when I got home I went to the doctor and got myself back on the medication.  This was in the 1990’s.  Today I am on one shot three times a day, and one shot at bedtime.  No pills now.  I have things like Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), I am hypoglycemic (low blood sugar).  So, I look at is a cancer, and I have had a cancer also, it will take you down slowly, and you will now what is going on until it tells you to go to see the doctor.  My mother had a number of strokes and was paralyzed before she passed.

When a doctor says this is wrong with you, do research, learn all you can about it, work with the doctors, ask questions, and they can help you.  I will have more on this subject soon.  I hate to see anyone down in life.  Life is too good to lose if you can avoid it.

Today, a Monday 6/11

I think I have begun today with a good positive attitude and I am looking forward to even a better day.  The birds are happy today, sun for them.  I have question people who are scheduled to be at work at a certain time but do not show up at that time.  I know when I worked with people, they did not last long if they did not want to work.  But today is a new breed, I shall never understand the attitudes of today.  Sorry, I do not mean to offend anyone, this is my opinion and just that.

I completed a Blog course last night and I thought I’d try it out today.  I also completed a course on Microsoft’s Azure program.  I looked into it, but it was too heavy for me to begin to understand.
